PRO-Series is the name for the new generation of professional quality telescopes and mounts of the Sky-Watcher range targeted at the most discerning and critical observers. PRO-Series products are manufactured to extremely high levels of optical and mechanical precision, undergoing very strick quality control procedures and testing by specially assigned technicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and performance are consistently maintained.

SPECIFICATIONS:
•ED Apochromatic Optics. ED fluorite glass elements minimise chromatic abberation, provide higher resolution and superior contrast. Colour fringing around objects is virtually eliminated.
•Crayford Focuser. The 2" Crayford focuser is backlash-free. The focuser wheels contain brushed-aluminium hubs with ridged rubber grip rings.
•Heavy-duty Equatorial Mounts. Specially designed to support large telescope tubes, these high-precision mounts feature engraved aluminium setting circles and a latitude scale, built-in polar scope, retractable counterweight shaft. The worm gears are preloaded with ball bearings for smooth tracking and slewing. Auto-guiding interface is also included for long-exposure astro-photography.
•Stepper-motor Technology. The built-in extra quiet stepper motors produce 800x high slewing speed and a step resolution of 0.144 arc seconds.
•Eyepieces supplied-: 9mm LER and 20mm LER.
•Finder. 9x50 Finderscope.
•Diagonal. Two inch diagonal supllied.

•SkyScan Computer-control GOTO System. The hand control allows pointing the telescope to a specific object at the touch of a button. The object database contains over 13,400 objects, including the complete M (Messier), NGC (New General Catalogue) and IC (Index Catalogue) catalogues. The positioning accuracy is up to 1 arc minute with software collimation error compensation. Periodic Error Correction is included for astro-photography without auto-guiding.
